Mind Mapping and Memory Strategies for Teachers
Mind Mapping is now world-renowned. At the heart of Mind Mapping is the combination of imagery, colour and visual-spatial arrangement, which is proven to significantly improve information recall, compared to conventional methods of note-taking and learning.
Mind Mapping is now a core part of the ‘Learning How to Learn curriculum’ in many countries. Mind Maps promote active learning, foster motivation, improve confidence, support a diverse range of learning styles and levels of ability – all in a fun way! While teaching is about getting the learner to understand content, it is also essential that the learner is assisted in developing appropriate memory strategies to aid recall. Such memory strategies are taught on this course.
At the end of this training, teachers will have the confidence to use Mind Mapping as a teaching tool and also support their students use of Mind Maps as an organisation, planning, learning and creativity tool. Teachers will now teach with memory in mind and will be able to assist learners devise appropriate memory strategies for their curricular work.

The Super Generation is therefore delighted to announce that we can now offer schools a one-stop shop to source facilitators for staff development days.
