This seminar is about teaching with the ‘Learner in Mind’. Ideally it is taken by teachers in conjunction with the Empowered Learning Seminar for students.

It is delivered as a half or full day programme. The full day provides teachers with practical skills that can be incorporated into the classroom with ease.

  • Teaching with Learning in Mind – A model for engaging the learner.

Mind Mapping and Memory Strategies for Teachers

Mind Mapping is now world-renowned. At the heart of Mind Mapping is the combination of imagery, colour and visual-spatial arrangement, which is proven to significantly improve information recall, compared to conventional methods of note-taking and learning.
 
Mind Mapping is now a core part of the ‘Learning How to Learn curriculum’ in many countries. Mind Maps promote active learning, foster motivation, improve confidence, support a diverse range of learning styles and levels of ability – all in a fun way! While teaching is about getting the learner to understand content, it is also essential that the learner is assisted in developing appropriate memory strategies to aid recall.
